Athy has some great older houses that are worth putting money into. Property is more affordable here than north Kildare, so your renovation or extension budget goes a lot further. We see a lot of full refurbishment jobs — people buying older houses and doing them up properly.

There are newer estates too, mostly from the 80s and 90s, where families need more space. The typical job is a rear extension or an attic conversion. We're about 20 minutes away and work in south Kildare regularly.
